Weekend Weather, Air Quality & Fire Ban Update

Hey TRC Family,

We know many of you have been tracking the haze and air quality around camp and along the Mountain Loop corridor while getting ready for this weekend's party.

The latest weather and air quality forecasts for the Verlot area indicate that shifting wind patterns are set to blow the smoke out of the corridor by Thursday.

Here is what we are expecting leading into the weekend:

  • Through Wednesday: Hazy conditions and elevated smoke levels throughout the surrounding area.
  • Thursday: Smoke clearing out, with air quality recovering back to healthy levels.
  • Friday – Sunday: Clearer skies, great summer temperatures in the 70s to low 80s, and clean air for a fantastic weekend of camping, music, and events.
Important Fire Safety Reminder

Please note that there is currently an active burn ban in effect for the region. However, this burn ban does NOT affect fires in TRC approved fire pits on the campground.

Fire safety remains a top priority: all fires must stay strictly within approved fire pits, be fully monitored at all times, and be properly extinguished before leaving your site.

Please make sure your required 5-gallon water pails are full and ready at your site.

We will continue keeping a close eye on local conditions, but as of right now, everything is clear for an amazing event.

Pack your gear, stay hydrated, drive safely coming up the highway, and we will see you at camp!
